Tremont Cascades

The Tremont area of Great Smoky Mountain National Park is a bit of hidden gem. This area, once extensively logged by the Little River Lumber Company in the early 1900's, is now home to the Great Smoky Mountains Institute. There are many hiking trails and several beautiful streams and cascades in this area.
